About the adventure

"The mission was a manhunt, the objectives clear—track down four fugitives, recover any assets they may have made off with, and keep ‘em all out of enemy hands. Go find them on a frozen moon full of hostiles and get it done on the eve of war. Nothing you couldn’t handle. But what it is that these bastards stole—and how the hell it got inside them—is another thing altogether. It’s all above your paygrade, marine—but somehow you’re the one who’s got to deal with it." Destroyer of World is an Alien RPG mini-campaign using the systems rules for cinematic play. The main difference here is that there isn't any XP progression. Instead, in each of the 3 acts of the story, players can earn "story points" by role-playing their Secret Agenda... It's fun, its fast paced, and more important, it's deadly!

Additional Details

How to prepare

Discord and Vchat is necessary, and I like for my players to get to know their character beforehand, asking me any questions about them so they can roleplay them as best as possible. Other than that no preparation is really necessary.

What I provide

I will be running this game using the official DoW module for FoundryVTT, this means maps for all the major areas. I supplement with artist maps for areas not included in the module.

Gameplay details

What you expected from Alien movie prepare to encounter in this game, horror and body horror, and different levels of violence among humans too. It ain't a pretty universe. That said, players well-being is always important, and descriptions of horror can be toned down if desired.

How will character creation work

Alien RPG cinematic scenarios use pre-gen characters that are vital to the story. Players can pick as they wish, or on a first-come, first served basis if they cannot come to an agreement.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
