About the adventure

Welcome, brave adventurers, to "Alehouse Adventures," a one-shot designed for new adventurers! Set in the city of Neverwinter, the story begins with a group of new adventurers like yourself, just starting off on your career. Each of you arrives at the tavern, drawn by its reputation of being the go to place for aspiring heroes. Here, you'll have the opportunity to meet other aspiring adventurers, forge alliances, and embark on a series of thrilling sidequests that will test your mettle and shape your destiny. "Alehouse Adventures" provides an ideal entry point for new adventurers, blending the camaraderie of a tavern setting with the excitement of thrilling quests. Whether you're new to the world of tabletop role-playing or a seasoned player seeking a fresh and immersive experience, this one-shot offers a captivating and memorable journey into the realm of fantasy. So, gather your dice, don your armor, and prepare to make your mark upon the world. The tavern awaits, and the tales of your adventures are waiting to be told!

How to prepare

Players will need Roll20 for battlemaps, D&DBeyond and Beyond20(plugin), Discord. A mic/headset are recommended. Characters sheets should be sent to me no later than one hour prior to the session. This includes character art for a token (one will be provided if you have none). If you have physical dice, you may use them if you prefer.

What I provide

I'll bring the maps, the monsters, a treasure chest that's definitely not a mimic, and hopefully a memorable experience. Oh and so many bad puns. (I apologize in advance)

Gameplay details

Safety tools will be done prior to start of the session and a consent checklist will be sent to players. XNO cards can be used at any time during the session. We will have breaks as well if the group decides to do more than one mission. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.

How will character creation work

Players will have access to my character creation content on D&DBeyond. They can be created beforehand. I am available to work with you if needed to help create your character. Characters sheets can be made on D&DBeyond or on Roll20.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
