About the adventure

You are recently deceased. You know that, but you don't remember how you died. Or much of who you are, for that matter. You are in a purgatory-like world searching for fragments of yourself so you can find your way to your final resting place. The worlds are many and endless. Inspired by media such as Yume Nikki, .flow, LSD Dream Emulator, Ib, Silent Hill, Little Nightmares, etc. You will find yourself in a desert-like hub that splits off into different mirages, or dreams. Some dreams are abstract, some have more form, some are derived from memories. These dreams have their own residents, as well as their own dangers. In the hub, some residents want to help you along, and some want to drag you down with them, or worse. The paths to find yourself will be difficult and painful - where does your soul belong, after all? In the end, you will ultimately make that decision. Find yourself or succumb to the stray dreams.

Additional Details

How to prepare

All you NEED is a mic. Cameras are great because I love having visuals and it makes communication easier for me, but they are not required! Rules, character creation, etc will happen Session 0.

What I provide

Since this is such a narrative heavy game, there won't be combat maps, etc. I will provide NPC art!

Gameplay details

(Please note: MANY content warnings have been added. These are potential precautions, depending on the comfort level of the group, what they want to explore with their characters, and what they red card. These content warnings are to let you know that I am willing to work with a group with great communication, touch base frequently, etc so that everyone is comfortable with the level of pain we want to inflict on our characters. Torture porn isn't the goal here. We want to tell meaningful stories through our characters' deaths, and lives.) Hard rules for all my games: NO racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, bigotry, etc. That includes fantasy versions (ie: "all orcs are born evil and therefore do x"). NO SA, noncon, torture. (Said things can be allowed, with approval, in PC backstories, and do exist in NPC backstories, but will not be directly mentioned or described) And... we're here to have fun!! <3 Will send a form pregame for lines/veils/etc. Will message to go over what kind of game everyone wants to play ("i hate puzzles" "i love combat" etc), touching base on things we don't want in the game, talking character dynamics, working on character sheets, explaining gameplay, etc After games, I usually chat (in call or in discord) with everyone and joke around - I always try to balance out the harsh with humor, and I check in with everyone after a rough session. X cards will be whatever you are most comfortable with. <3
