About the adventure

Are you a DnD nerd? Are you also a literature nerd? Then this is the campaign series for you! This campaign is in fact a series of independent three-session adventures based on the real-life Bard. Essentially I adapt Shakespeare's plays into adventures! Will you help Titania take back her prized child from Oberon? Will you unite the star-crossed lovers from opposing families to stop an impending gang war? Or will you take a job to save Desdemona from a supposed monstrous outsider? The possibilities are endless. The setting will still be classic fantasy but any literature nerd will love the plethora of allusions. Character creation is rather open but think about how you might take inspiration from existing characters like the skilled fencer or flawed leader, the fae friend or the sneaky comic relief.

How to prepare

Webcam is prefered but only a mic and ability to use Zoom are necessary. Character prep is mentioned above. You can use physical dice or an online roller and keep your sheet however you want.

What I provide

I will have a welcome info packet for you explaining the campaign setting and character creation suggestions. I will also have many digital handouts for you during the sessions. Any character art should be provided by you. You will probably end the campaign with some great custom memes.

Gameplay details

I avoid serious adult themes such as sexual violence or intense gore and will end any morally offensive talk at the (zoom) table. I do however often make dirty jokes and innuendos, as did Shakespeare. If you are worried about triggers, just message me and we can decide if the campaign is for you.

How will character creation work

Characters will be level 5, any class or race you want. When you join I will contact you so we can work on a character idea you may already have or I can share ideas. Please feel free to take inspiration from the classic character tropes found in Shakespeare. Silliness is absolutely allowed, comic relief characters are a time-honored tradition. You will be in charge of your own sheet so you can use paper or any site you want, just send me a copy.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
