About the adventure

This is a game for the storytellers, roleplayers, and world builders who enjoy bending or breaking the rules. In this adventure, you will create characters using modified D&D 5E rules. The people you dream up will give us a starting point for our tale. From there...who knows where you will go or what you will find? On the continent of Vaggavergard, there are no evil races nor racial superiority. International trade is booming and different cultures work together to strive for peace and prosperity. The gods are active, and the veils between the feywild and the demonplane are thin where the three realms intersect. Pirate factions roam the seas, dragons soar through the skies, and theives' guilds work the nights. (5E rules *will* be modified during play & Rule of Cool is Queen! West Marches play style!)

How to prepare

You will need a free Discord account. Our communication will all happen on a private server for this game. You will also need a webcam.

I will bring server access, Zoom, World Anvil, and DnDBeyond.

Gameplay details

This campaign is entirely improvised, sandbox style play in which the players act out/state their characters' intentions and I act as the universe and respond. The gameplay is *based on* D&D 5E and is heavily modified, so rules lawyers and devout canon players may find themselves frustrated in my games. Our goal is to tell the story of the unique characters that you create. This campaign will be run in West Marches style, meaning: there is no set game time and individual games are played when at least three players and myself are available. Total number of players will be capped at about 10-15. All players are encouraged to get into character to the extent that they feel comfortable. If you love using voices - go for it! If you prefer to describe your actions, that's fine, too! Interaction between characters is what will drive the story, so bring your creativity to the virtual table!

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 3 and built with my character creation guide that I will provide to you when you're ready. We will have a Session Zero for each group of players as they join.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
