Adventures in the Weird West: Deadlands

About the adventure

The year is 1884 but the history is not our own. In 1868 during the battle of Gettysburg a massive earthquake shook the world and changed everything. A new Element was discovered that was 1000 times more powerful then coal, it became known as ghost rock because it screams when you burn it. Other weird things began to happen too, California was destroyed leaving only a maze of canyons and people have been reporting all kinda weird stuff like ghosts and zombies out west. If you aint yellow then saddle up cowpoke there lots of adventure to be had out here in the weird west. Deadlands is a setting that mixes horror and western themes to make a fun and unique game. This game will center on a group of cowpokes working for the Tombstone Epitaph the biggest newspaper in the west, these coowpokes will go out into the world in search of the truth and they may not like what they find.

How to prepare

Come prepared to have a dark fun time and come prepared with an idea for your cowpoke.

What I provide

I will bring my knowledge of the savage worlds system and a passion for the system and setting. I will also provide an immersive plays pace with foundry with maps and music.

Gameplay details

This game will include dark themes such as death and demons and well as potential possession. We will be using lines veils and an x card in case things get to much for players.

How will character creation work

I will work with players to create novice characters and to understand the savage worlds ruleset. We will be using foundry VTT and its through character creation compendium.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
