About the adventure
Welcome to the quaint village of Swampridge, where the secrets of a long-forgotten temple await your exploration. This low-magic one-shot adventure is ideal for those seeking to learn the game. It offers a refreshing departure from traditional high-fantasy settings, providing a low-magic environment where resourcefulness and cunning take center stage. Immerse yourself in the dingy atmosphere of Swampridge as you navigate the remnants of the temple. With a focus on engaging storytelling and clever problem-solving, this easygoing adventure invites you to discover the village's hidden past and uncover the secrets that lie within. So, prepare to embark on a memorable journey, where magic takes a backseat and your wit becomes your most valuable asset. Whether you're a newcomer or an experienced player, this low-magic escapade promises a unique and enjoyable experience for all.

How to prepare
A free account with dndbeyond will be needed to get access to the campaign page. There's no need to purchase any books as I'll have book sharing activated. No webcam needed but a mic that's better than the one your computer came with would be preferred. You'll need to install Discord which will be used for handouts, ambient music, and voice chat. This will be a theater of the mind game so no need for an account on a virtual tabletop.
What I provide
I have an almost complete library of player options that will be made available for character creation on dndbeyond. This is a one-shot that I've successfully (successful in that everyone had fun) run for many players of all experience levels. It includes immersive music and voiced character work (ranging from alright to pretty good) to make you feel like this is a lived in world you're exploring. I'm prepared for anything so I can't wait to see how you and your party complete this adventure.
Gameplay details
Message me your Lines and Veils before the session so I'm able to edit anything that's a Line. I'll be utilizing Breaks to provide opportunities for self-care and welcomed distractions. After the session or with what time is left we'll Debrief to allow for reflection and open communication.
