    About the adventure

    Welcome to the frozen north, where your adventures will shape the fortunes and freedom of all those that inhabit the inhospitable arctic. This campaign is a thrilling new take on the region of Icewind Dale, perfect for veteran players and an excellent introduction to D&D for the less experienced! The sun set for the last time 2 nights ago. What began as a well planned caravan to the far north has become a string of bitter disasters. With your journey plunged into a long night, and the mountain passes of the Spine of the World becoming more treacherous by the day, the caravan masters agreed to double your pay as a guard, scout, outrider, healer, or minstrel once you make it to Icewind Dale. Perhaps you're heading to Ten-Towns to visit family, friends, or conduct business. You may have received visions of the sunless skies from the gods or divinations. Whatever your motivation, you know that the future lies across the mountains in Icewind Dale. What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the everlasting night?     How to prepare

    No prep necessary! If you're bringing a character you've made, please share the character sheet with me in whichever format you prefer. If you hop in without a character, I have pre-made options available for you.

    Everything is provided! Just hop in and play!

    Gameplay details

    This adventure included themes of despair, mind control, and human sacrifice, although none of it is presented gratuitously. Most of the horror is hinted at rather than described in detail. I'm happy to modulate the horror themes to whatever your level of comfort is!

    How will character creation work

    Bring a 1st-level character, or hop in with one of the pre-generated characters provided. If the game is run as part of the Adventurers League organized play program, use the AL Player's Guide when creating your character.
