Adventure: The Sleeping Dragon's Wake
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Discord, Foundry VTT
Price per player-session
About the adventure
The town of Leilon was once a fortified settlement on the High Road, midway between the larger cities of Neverwinter and Waterdeep. The settlement has been destroyed and rebuilt many times in its long history. The Lord Protector of Neverwinter, Dagult Neverember, recently hired a group of his citizens to rebuild the town, a construction project now well underway. They hope to create a fortified waypoint for travelers and merchants that can ward off the threats of the surrounding wilderness. Chief among these dangers are the Cults of the Strom God, Talos & the Death God, Myrkul, who's followers have been fighting to secure the town for their own uses. The people of Leilon have just begun to uncover the threats both groups pose to the region. They need the help of adventurers if they want their fledgling settlement to survive the danger. (This module is part of my Adventure series. It can be played as a standalone one-off or linked with other adventures in the series. Feel free to message me to discuss your options.)
How to prepare
Players need a mic, a computer, a web browser, and an active internet connection. It is preferable that players have a quiet environment to play in. You will need to create an account with Discord. I use Foundry VTT as the game client. I will send you a link to the game server when we start. You may wish to create a Forge Account ahead of time to use Foundry. You do not need to download anything and can run this in your browser.
What I provide
I will bring a fully digital experience similar to a 2D dungeon crawling RPG video game. This includes maps, templates, some animated effects, music, etc. You do not need to know how to play ahead of time but if you haven't played before let me know and I will help guide and teach you as we go.
This game includes fantasy violence and drug use.
