How to prepare

Players will need the VTT Fantasy Grounds downloaded to their personal computer and a free account created. The free Demo account is all that you will need and can be downloaded for Windows, Mac, or Linux at www.fantasygrounds.com We will also be using Discord for game-time voice and between-game text communications.

What I provide

I will have an ultimate license of Fantasy Grounds to host free demo accounts. All of the required books in Fantasy Grounds for character creation. An upgraded Discord server for improved voice. And a Syrinscape super subscription for streaming sounds and effects.

Gameplay details

At session 0 we will introduce ourselves and discuss the tropes and themes of the campaign. The X, N, and O cards are integrated into the VTT for anonymous notification to the GM. X cards will fade the scene or tabletop discussion to black as we will take a forced break. An N card will notify the GM if the scene or tabletop discussion is uncomfortable and the GM will do their best to get the game back on track. If corrected by the GM the player can send an O card letting the GM know they are good. Or, if the GM cannot correct the N card the player will send an X card.

How will character creation work

Character creation will be done one-on-one with DM Greg. Players will create ability scores using the 4d6 drop the lowest and assign it as the desired method. The AD&D2e Players Handbook and brown 'The Complete...' accessory books are accepted. We will allow for Kits.
