About the adventure

1st group for the world of Acavar. Welcome to Acavar, a realm where elves dance under the moonlight, dwarves forge wonders in the heart of the mountains, humans build bustling cities on the plains, tieflings weave arcane secrets into reality, and halflings bring joy to every corner with their laughter and hospitality. In this land of harmony, the city of unity, Casrix, stands as a beacon of cooperation among the races, but whispers of an ancient doom echo through the winds. Shadows stir in forgotten depths, and a darkness long thought vanquished threatens to rise again, casting a pall over the once peaceful kingdoms. As tensions mount and alliances falter, heroes must rise from all corners of Acavar to uncover the truth behind the looming catastrophe and unite against the encroaching darkness before it devours everything in its path.

How to prepare

I usually don't ask for webcam on but, keep in mind that seeing your beautiful faces gives me a better idea of your reactions and help me improve the game for you. You'll need a microphone though. You don't need to have a character ready as we can explore your ideas in session 0 and start from there. There will be some rules to read in the Discord server. I simply ask that you follow the basis of respect to make sure it is a comfortable environment for everyone. I use Foundry VTT, which is free to download as a player but, you'll need to create an account and I recommend watching some tutorials on Youtube to get familiar with it. I usually like to have a channel in the Discord server on how to improve as a player which include those. Obviously, you'll also need a Startplaying account!

What I provide

Explore the result of years of DMing mixed to the use of AI tools to improve your experience. I think that visuals and music also help enhance the sessions so, I like to mix different tools and even commission art/music to make sure you get the best ambiance. Like Matt Mercer once said, if the rules of the game are stopping me from letting you enjoy the game, those are meant to be broken. But, I also try to keep to 5e as best as possible, sometimes sneaking in mechanics I find interesting to spice things up.

Gameplay details

I will try to cover everything in Session 0 but, I always keep some time before and after the sessions to hang out and talk about improving our sessions. All links to every documentation will be available in the Discord server.

How will character creation work

Session 0 is free! We get together one on one, then altogether to set the vibe and get more information about the world your character will plunge into. Backstory is always the best but, feel free to let your character develop through the story. I like to skip to level 3 when we begin since leveling from 1 to 3 is usually kept for session 0 or the first one which I prefer to keep as exploration sessions and setting the world up. Possibility of getting a prebuilt character on demand. Let's build one together!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
