A Wild Sheep Chase

About the adventure

A Single-Session D&D 5e adventure for parties of 4th-5th level. When the party’s attempt to grab a rare afternoon of downtime is interrupted by a frantic sheep equipped with a Scroll of Speak to Animals, they’re dragged into a magical grudge match that will test their strength, courage and willingness to endure baa’d puns. Will our heroes be able to overcome a band of transmuted assassins and an extremely bitter apprentice packing dangerously unstable magic items? There’s only one way to find out… The most important aspect of game play to me, is that everyone is having fun. I am not as accomplished at role playing as I would like to be but I do really enjoy players who bring that to the game. Monsters and other enemy combatants in my games are more than a stat block and tend to use shrewd tactics when appropriate. I prefer a game with a nice balance of roleplaying, combat and puzzle solving. Too much of any of these can become tedious.

How to prepare

Please be prepared with a headset, this helps to separate microphone and speakers, which limits feedback and echo. Have a Discord account and know the basics of how to log in and join a new server, as we will use this for audio communication.

How will character creation work

Please have a 4th level character prepared on https://dndbeyond.com before start of game. I will try to get online an hour before game time to help answer questions and guide preparation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
