About the adventure

After passing out while celebrating at the local tavern, players wake up to find that their surroundings have... changed. Instead of the surrounding town they see strange, fleshy walls and pits of acidic bile. Acrid smells hang in the air, and strange inhuman noises echo over an ever-present gurgling. Lost in the stomach of a city-sized serpent, players must explore and uncover what secrets lie half-digested in the dark. Along the way they can choose to save the other tavern patrons or abandon them to their digestive fate. But they must stay silent, for a creeping death stalks this fleshy cavern - a nameless hunter of any living thing that draws breath. And even the smallest noise may draw its attention... This is a home brewed adventure created by Dalton M., host of the podcast “Dungeon for Two.”

How to prepare

Players will provide a level four character sheet and will need a working microphone and access to Zoom. Video is optional.

What I provide

I will mostly be running this adventure using a “Theater of the Mind” approach, describing the story and surroundings, but may make use of some images for immersive purposes.

Gameplay details

This adventure contains themes of mild body horror, as it takes place mostly inside of a monster’s stomach and depicts alcohol consumption as adventurers will be starting out in a tavern. It is heavy on exploration but has combat.
