About the adventure
Peace has finally come to Khorvaire, but that doesn't mean the peoples of the Five Nations can relax. Attacks are happening all over, seemingly at random, but in truth they disguise a deadly, sinister plot that could shape the fate of all Eberron for generations to come! This level 1-12 campaign is beginner-friendly and inspired by a novel that launched a popular video-game franchise (probably not the one you're thinking of). Sometimes humanoids' greatest enemy is themself. I promise that makes more sense in context.

How to prepare
Start with 3 character concepts, and check the first chapter of Eberron: Rising from the Last War to see how the information there might inform the background of who you want to play. We'll be playing over Discord, so make sure you've got an account with that. If you want access to all of my DnD Beyond content, you'll also need to be on DnD Beyond, lol. More specifics can be discussed at Session 0, or you can PM me and ask any questions you need to!
What I provide
I have a very healthy library on DnD Beyond, which will be made available to you through sharing. I have some familiarity with the VTT's Foundry and Roll20, and am always working to gain proficiency with such tools. I'm no Matt Mercer, but I do some character voices, and have assigned regional accents to most of the locations in the setting. I try to stick to Rules As Intended, rather than strictly Rules As Written, with plenty of room for the occasional awesome moment that bends said rules. Combat is frequent, and as tactical as I can manage, though I'm not much of a chess player. I also thoroughly enjoy a trapped, puzzled dungeon. Any other questions, feel free to ask!
Gameplay details
This is not a horror campaign; I will not be trying to scare you. At my table, Characters may often be in peril, but my Players will always be perfectly safe, and that I can guarantee. If you have any concerns or questions, you can always ask me.

How will character creation work
Character creation will start at Session 0, and will be completed in PM's before the first session. Stats are rolled (4d6 drop lowest, reroll 1's). Starting level is 3. Eberron: Rising from the Last War is a great starting point for understanding the setting and how it differs from more traditional fantasy settings.
