About the adventure

Welcome to your introduction to the world of Dungeon and Dragons 5th edition. Come learn how to play and understand the system of 5th edition with all its rules and spells. I am an experienced Dungeon Master that will teach you how to understand everything you need to know to play D&D 5e. Similar to that of a Master Class I will use each time we meet to talk about some of the rules and answer all questions you have about this amazing game. However, I feel the best way is to learn is with experience. Once you understand the basics then we will apply it into an actual campaign and play through a quick module called The Lost Mines of Phandelver. This adventure will take you from level one to five taking place in the world of Faerun near the city of Neverwinter where your characters will be given a job to travel to the town on Phandalin and begin your adventure together there .

How to prepare

A microphone is needed and headphones if you wish to listen to the background music, a way to open links to view the combat maps, and a account on D&D Beyond. The D&D Beyond account is free and will help me see your characters as well as it's an easy tool to use. Also on discord a video camera is optional but will be encouraged as its a fun way to see reactions for an easier roleplay experience. Feel free to use your own dice to play but if you don't have any there are many digital options we can try. A quiet space is encourage to sit and play this game so there are no distractions for you or other players.

What I provide

I have the module as well as many other sourcebooks from 5e to bring you a fun adventure. I will prepare the maps, the items, the ambiance, and all other things to make this a fun time for everyone.

Gameplay details

This game contains a good amount of graphic violence as well as some naughty language. I would rate my game as a PG-13 rating with just a bit more language. Before the game I will request that each player fill out a Consent of Gaming form to help me know what to stay away from unwanted topics. During the game we will be using the open door safety tools as well as good communication should anything upset or trigger a player. Bottom line is that respectful behavior is required at all times. Disrespectful, hateful, hurtful language or behavior will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate removal.

How will character creation work

When you decide to join, think of a character concept and message me the idea. I allow my players to roll for their stats or do point buy which ever you'd prefer. Anything that is official material is free to use, and you will also start with a few magical items I will send you a link for D&D Beyond to join this campaign with your character and you will add a level 2 character to the campaign. Questions can be asked about your characters at anytime.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
