About the adventure

Most D&D campaigns fall apart or fade away before the players get to experience being level 20 legendary heroes. What if you were able to skip the campaign part and go right to the final battle at the end of the world? Also why not include an army of celestial beings and a terrible universe ending dragon into the mix? This one shot will simulate the end of an epic campaign using a selection of vaguely fleshed out pre-made level 20 characters. There will be mechanics to allude to the bonds of the characters and their previous adventures to get some roleplay in while focusing on using high level abilities in a chaotic high stakes combat scenario. (If you want to bring your own level 20 character to the table we can also work something out!) The premade characters all have vague backstories for flavor but you will be free to customize them at your leisure. The options available are: High Elf Abjuration Wizard, Drow Hexblade Warlock, Halfling Champion Fighter, Warforged Wild Magic Barbarian, Tiefling Lore Bard, Half Orc Grave Cleric, Human Astral Self Monk, & Goblin Spore Druid.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Webcam/mic preferred. Familiarity with 5e mechanics also preferred though beginners are also welcome. Players should have a Roll20 account. Not mandatory but preferred if players can familiarize themselves with their character in advance since Lv. characters can have a lot of abilities/spells. I will send out the Roll20 link a few days in advance.

What I provide
