About the adventure

You find your party walking down a trail when you spot a quite large and rather frantic looking bullfrog with a golden exclamation point floating above his head. He believes that he is a wizard trapped in this form and needs your help to turn back! This adventure takes place in my homebrew setting Termila Forest. The Termila Forest is riddled with paths going in many directions and is heralded throughout the land to be full of adventures. These paths branch and fork constantly and seem to have an eerie way of bringing adventurers of all kinds together to go on short (one-shot) quests often to gain loot or help the poor people that decide to live here. I start my games with players all converging on one path and finding the adventure that awaits them. This is a high fantasy world where really anything can happen. Add to that an extremely magical forest with seemingly never ending pathways to adventure and it’s sure to be a good time. Join me as I commit to silly voices and even more ridiculous NPCs.

How to prepare

I can work with players of all experience levels so feel free to let me be your first. That being said bringing a premade character is preferred so we can start the session on time. but if that's not possible I would love to help make characters. (I'm not just saying this to be nice, I would love to help you.) Also since this game is fully virtual player will need a computer or phone that can video call.

What I provide

Since this is a fully virtual I will not be providing anything physical and all my games are theater of the mind so we will not need any maps. I do however reserve the right to send players private messages if they pick up certain details or items I think they might want to keep secret.

Gameplay details

An average session starts off with everyone introducing their characters. I know some people don't think it's a game unless you start in a tavern but I tend to speed past that and start you all on the road already a party. You the quickly find that the adventure has begun and you have a decision to make. Is this frog really a wizard and will you help him?

How will character creation work

I would prefer if players brought with them a 5th level character of any class. I am pretty lenient on UA but would like to know beforehand if you plan on using any so I can decide if it needs to be tweaked a little for my setting. Also because I am a kind and generous GM I let all my players choose one uncommon and one rare item from the DMG that their character has gotten on their way to level 5.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium

  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: Beginner
