About the adventure

The world is ours. The history is not our own. Welcome to the Weird West, cowpoke, where people's worst fears have become real. Play gunslingers, mad scientists, card-dealing magicians or witches united to combat the forces of evil in this Weird West. In this beginner adventure, the posse works as a delivery team for the company Smith and Robards. The mission: deliver a velocipede to a client and get a signature. Little does the posse know this is a mission to the core of their worst nightmares. We will use the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition (SWADE) system with the Deadlands: Weird West setting. Knowledge of the SWADE is suggested. You can bring your own character to the table or use a pregen, whatever level you feel comfortable with.

How to prepare

I would recommend flipping through the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition rules for the basics of the game and at the least tune in to a Deadlands Actual Play on youtube to get a feel for the setting. Feel more like reading? There are good dime novels available on drivethrurpg.com including Perdition's Daughter that captures the feel.

What I provide

I will bring pregens for those who wish to have it, the roll20 set up for play, automatic dice roller and cards for play. Maps will also be set up for combat. Bring your best cowboy voice and a can-do attitude to learn this system and have a wonderful time.

How will character creation work

Posse, you have a choice. I can build a pregen for you based on your interests of play (mad scientist, gunslinger, etc) or you can custom build your cowpoke in the Roll20 Savage Worlds character sheet. Whatever you feel comfortable with.
