About the adventure

Live through over three millennia of history as a deathless vampire in this Vampire the Masquerade homebrew campaign. Beginning during the Siege of Troy, this campaign will thrust you into the heart of a shadow war raged between vampires from the dawn of civilisation. Adapt your character as the centuries pass: Will you adopt the toga of this upstart Roman Empire, the strange new fashions of Victorian London or even the blue jeans of 20th century New York? Or will you walk eternity in the garb of the the Babylonian priestess of Nergal you always were.

How to prepare

A mic is essential, as is a free Roll20 account. Otherwise all you need is a willingness to engage with the game and, if you aren't already versed in the rules, a desire to learn!

What I provide

Ever VtM book and everything else we need to rule from our dark thrones through all of history.

Gameplay details

My goodness, look at the content warnings on this one. As this game will be taking place in a version of Earth, and human history is an utter nightmare at times, I've had to paint with a very broad brush in the content warning section. Rest assured that you characters will have plenty of opportunities to actively push back against bigotry of all types as they make their way through the centuries. But this is a VtM game, your characters are still blood sucking monsters. So please be absolutely sure you will be comfortable playing such a character. The chronicle is based around secret wars between vampire factions throughout world history. The main conceit of the setting is that many of the ancient gods of mythology are in completely real and directly tied to vampirism in ways I won't spoil (there's lots of myths and misinformation about it in setting). The heroes of ancient myth are almost all vampires, with some notable exceptions. You can create whole new characters or choose to adopt one of these mythological heroes as your own and make a "true" vampire version of them. Each section of the chronicle will cover different "flash points" in the history of this secret war, set at different points of real world history. We will cooperatively come up with what your characters have been up to in the meantime and what position (if any) you hold in the new time period. The age/generation system has been stretched out in some places and shortened in others. As a general rule, it takes about ten times as long to "age up" as it did previously.
