About the adventure

If you're like me, you have created A LOT of different characters, each made at different levels, and a lot of them are experimental or don't work in long running campaigns. So I am making a campaign called The Adventurers Guild! A collection of short adventures for all manor of different types of characters set at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th level. So if you create some amazing characters who are made at 16th level, no need to go through the arduous and clunky process of levelling them up, you can roll those characters whenever a band of 16th level adventurers is called to action. You can experiment with new build concepts, personalities, habits and whatever you are unsure of roleplaying to see how other players respond to them. This can help get a feel for something you are trying to get better at, and once the current adventure is done, you can try out another. On the discord, in addition to a category of all channels relating to the current adventure, there is a category for the guild hall itself where you can roleplay any of your characters outside of adventures.

How to prepare

Players will require discord and a free D&D Beyond account (no subscription needed). (1) A fully structured discord server accommodating players both in their adventures and out of them. (2) Bots to streamline and simplify mechanics while in the Discord server. (3) A willingness to guide new players through their first D&D Beyond character creation so they make something they can enjoy rolling.

I hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 🏳️‍🌈♾️👨🏾‍🦲 I have included the TTRPG staple warnings, since monster will get slain and fire will at some point become a factor. Anything that any player has a problem with and would rather not deal with can be cut and/or edited out of adventures before they start. TTRPG is all about being an experience, and I want to ensure every player has a good experience. I have dedicated channels for Lines & Veils, Stars & Wishes and an Emotional Support channel for Bleed, Aftercare and Debriefing. I also allow retcons and flashbacks because I understand that sometimes a player might forget something that their character would definitely not have forgotten.

How will character creation work

The first adventure is set for LV4. Once players are in the discord, I am happy to help them set up their characters from scratch and show them how to use the Avrae bot to ensure everything works as they intend. After the conclusion of the first adventure, the next one will be for LV8, then LV12, then LV16, then LV20. Players can use higher level versions of the same single character, or several characters for each of these levels.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
