About the adventure

Here are the things that you can expect from playing this campaign together with me as a DM (There is a Prologue for the campaign that you can find under this section) 📜 ∎ I draw 90% of the maps myself which makes adventuring environment feel consistent 🌐 ∎ More than 200 unique maps were drawn to create this campaign's locations and landscapes. All these maps are not standalone as you may have used to see in other campaigns, but parts of one huge canvas that are connected with smooth transitions to make things optimized 👤 ∎ Each NPC has it's own motivation, backstory and portrait 🌄 ∎ I am a beginner artist, thus you can expect me to draw several pictures that represent the most memorable moments from our sessions 🦖∎ The majority of enemy tokens are animated. Over the years I've supported numerous professional artists that create them and managed to gather quite a decent collection 🎻 ∎ Hours of carefully selected fantasy music will accompany your journey 📚 ∎ Players will have access to most of 5e official content for their character creation needs 4️⃣ ∎ I speak 4 languages and I see them as a tool for our games. Giving a race not just an accent, but a whole another language makes them feel more immersive 🎭 ∎ I love using different voices, combining them with different languages and accents 🎬 ∎ There is no pre-written plot for the campaign, just basic directions where the players might, or might not lead their party. Nevertheless these directions are well thought, hundreds of hours went into designing characters, loot pools, locations and their corresponding maps. You are here not to play someone else's story, but to create your own in this well written world ⏳ ∎ I am a freelancer so there are no limits to when we can play. Players can pick any day and almost any time for our session. I am also opened to play several times per week 🔮 ∎ Several unique homebrew systems that were designed as an alternative to vanilla 5e Learning and Crafting systems. Their purpose is to compensate for the lack of downtime in campaign's where every day counts. They are quite engaging and were highly approved by my players in the past 🏹 ∎ I tend to keep games at 65/35 rate, where 65 is combat and exploring, and 35 is pure roleplay. Players can always stay a little longer in a tavern or initiate a smalltalk during a shortrest, which would change the proportion to their liking 🧙 ∎ I have more than 3000 of experience in various tabletop RPG such as D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Blades in The Darkness

How to prepare

👀I use virtual tabletop software to make D&D more visually engaging and accessible. We will be using Foundry and Discord (mic required), which you can run in your browser (I recommend Google Chrome), so no need to download anything. ⚙️The program is pretty simple for players to run, but there are a few tricks to know that will make your life easier. I’m also available to walk you through the basics (especially character creation). 🌚We can also use some techniques to create custom token with a portrait that represents your character for you to use

What I provide

Core Rule books Player’s Handbook (PHB) Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG) Monster Manual (MM) Supplement books Volo’s Guide to Monsters (VGtM) Xanathar’s Guide to Everything (XGtE) Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes (MToF) Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything (TCoE) Campaign Settings The Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide (SCAG) Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica (GGtR) Acquisitions Incorporated (AI) Eberron: Rising from the Last War (RftLW) Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount (EGtW) Mythic Odysseys of Theros (MOoT) Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft (VRGtR)

Gameplay details

*Prologue* 1489 DR In a country of Vaasa, among small huts of Palischuk, your party has been perfecting a plan to achieve both the respect of the simple folk and nobility, which would open a whole new realm of possibilities for you. After talking to one of the local caravaneers you have discovered an effective way of accomplishing this goal. His caravan was ambushed by a small group of northern barbarians that were wearing skulls on top of their heads. They probably just were one more bunch of Orcus worshippers, another piece of Zhengyi's legacy, a terrifying witch-king which has conquered these lands more than a century ago, but was heroically defeated by the King Gareth Dragonsbane and his companions. It has become a common sport to hunt down and destroy his remaining followers and minions since then. They would rarely pose a threat for a caravan if it was mobile enough, but accidents happen. Avenging caravaneer's fallen comrades would earn you the desired renown. This thought was more warming than a nearby campfire. Despite the fact that the weather was way warmer than usual for this season, the heat was still required to survive the night outside. Next morning was exciting for everyone in the party except for poor caravanner since he had to lead adventurers towards an ambush site. After investing most of the gold pieces into best equipment and most of the free time into learning about an upcoming foe you were set to venture forth. This plan was as reliable as a gnomish mechanism. So it seemed. Careful and prepared you have arrived at an ambush site only to find that even remotely valueble items were missing, which was not surprising to your guide. It wasn't long when the surprise has caught up though, at the same time as the realization of his own stupidity: He has fallen for an ambush twice, and this time there was no escape. Two dozens of earthen hills have risen, dropping attached dirt and sand to the ground only to reveal twenty heavily armed barbarians, straightening up to their full height at the place of little hills. Your group was told there were only six of these primal highwaymen, which hasn't seemed to be the case right now. Such a threat was far from insignificant. The number of enemies did not scare off the team for a second, but catching it by surprise, the enemy still had the advantage. Defenceless caravaneer was slashed into pieces at the blink of an eye. He didn't even get a chance to scream. - Damn it, that one wears my pyjama... These were the last words of caravaneer Neil Swift. Dozens of limbs were crashed and burned that day. But that wasn't enough. Wounded and exhausted, you were slowly observing how darkness has consumed you and your fellow adventurers. But for those who had such brilliant prospects the nightmare wasn't over. All of you woke up in an icy cave, naked and dying for food. It is unknown how much time has passed since you were knocked out, but it was obvious that all of severe wounds were healed. The smell of decay and sweat has struck your nostrils as you came to senses. Where are we ?
