About the adventure

In my approach to Modern Myths, I strive for a respectful reimagining of classical myth and urban legends explored in a modern setting. Las Palabras is more than a city. It is a Terra Incognita, a world outside the World. It is a reflection of the idea of the modern city, complete with urban legends and haunted locales. With such a strong concentration of Legend in one place, it's only a matter of time before strange happenings begin to occur. This story starts in the Wooded Barrens surrounding the city. It begins with a missing person and sightings of a winged creature in the dark. ________________________________ In this story, players portray pre-Visitation Scions as they explore the Wooded Barrens and the city of Las Palabras. Join us as we try to answer the question "what happened to Lindsey Kohler?"

How to prepare

Since this is online, a stable internet connection is necessary. Players should have a microphone, preferably with headset. We will be using Discord for voice and rolling dice.

What I provide

I provide the necessary books, a Discord server for voice chat and rolling dice. I also provide characters for any player who doesn't want to make their own.

Gameplay details

Lines and Veils will be established during Session 0 and listed for player reference. X, N, & O cards are messaged for player safety and comfort.

How will character creation work

Characters are made using the rules in Scion: Origin. Players are welcome to make characters on their own, but session 0 will include a character creation walkthrough. If joining after session 0, I will set up a time to do character creation individually, if requested. I use and highly recommend the interactive sheets designed by Mr Gone. Sheets will be saved in my ST folder for easy reference and updating.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
