StartPlaying is excited to announce our Pride Month Charity event benefitting The Trevor Project. From June 1st to June 30th, GMs who run games on StartPlaying can donate 100% of their proceeds to The Trevor Project for Pride Month. StartPlaying will match funds raised by all GMs in this way up to $1000. The Trevor Project is committed to providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people. Through their mission, The Trevor Project seeks to create a safe space and support system for LGBTQ youth. Their mission statement reads: We strive to create a world where every young person can be their authentic self, without fear of judgment or reprisal. StartPlaying is waiving our standard 10% cut from bookings for all charity games, and we will match funds raised by all GMs up to $1000. This is an excellent opportunity to back a cause that directly impacts the LGBTQ community. When can I run games?
The Trevor Project runs from - . You can create a game for any timeslot during that time but we recommend that games start at the following timeslots: 12pm EDT, 3pm EDT, 6pm EDT, and 9pm EDT. When scheduling your sessions, keep in mind that StartPlaying.Games will adjust to each user's time zone.
How much should I charge?
On StartPlaying.Games Game Masters can select your own pricing. Our data finds that games fill seats more often when they are priced between $5 - $20 per seat.
What games can I run?
Whatever you like, as long as it doesn't go against our code of conduct.
