About the adventure

Level 1 Daggerheart adventure set in the Beast Feast campaign. Your friend is dying, and there is only one thing that can save them: the legendary Ignis Obscurus mushroom, hidden deep within the dangerous Blooming Depths. Unfortunately, there’s a small problem. You aren’t heroes. You’re bakers, beekeepers, candle makers, gardeners, and other ordinary folk with more heart than combat training. And if you’re going to survive the journey, you’ll need to do more than fight the strange creatures lurking below. You’ll need to gather their bizarre and occasionally delicious ingredients, turn them into meals, and eat them to grow stronger. Every beast becomes a meal. Every recipe is a chance at survival. Every bite brings you one step closer to saving the life of someone you love. Beasts, Blooms & Burnt Ends is a whimsical, slightly ridiculous adventure about ordinary people doing something extraordinary. Expect strange creatures, dangerous exploration, questionable culinary decisions, and plenty of opportunities for your character to discover that being a hero doesn't necessarily mean knowing what you're doing. This adventure is designed for Level 1 characters and is especially welcoming to first-time Daggerheart players, players curious about the Beast Feast cooking mechanics, or anyone looking for a fun, self-contained one-shot with a strong story and plenty of room for creative problem-solving. Come hungry. The monsters certainly did.

About me

I’ve been running Daggerheart for over a year, including a long-running campaign as well as a dozen introductory sessions and one-shots for both newer and more experienced players. I enjoy balancing roleplay, exploration, combat, and social encounters in each session, while creating a welcoming table for players of all experience levels. I take pride in helping newer players feel comfortable with both the rules and the roleplay, while giving experienced players the depth, agency, and freedom they’re looking for. As a GM, I prioritize collaboration and responsiveness. I love weaving character backstories into the larger narrative and creating moments that feel personal and memorable. When things inevitably go off-script, I embrace the improvisation and use it as an opportunity to keep the story dynamic and fun. My goal is always to create a table where players feel supported, engaged, and excited to see what happens next..
