About the adventure

The setting of Curseborne is modern day with horror elements. This adventure takes place in the suburbs of Boston, MA in the United States. This is an introductory adventure for new players. I will provide quick reference documents and pre-made characters with tips for using the characters' abilities. My style tends to lean into dark comedy and dark fairy tale. I don't represent the only way to play Curseborne, but that is my personal style. I love to react to my players' ideas and enjoy going off the rails.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players are recommended to create Entanglement 1 characters from any of the Curseborne Core Rulebook paths. Pre-Made Characters are available upon request. Feel free to change the characters' names or gender identity if you wish.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The game will be run in Discord. Be sure to have a way to take notes. A dice bot will be provided.

What Corbin brings to the table

I usually lean into "Rule of Cool" in regards to what players want to do. If something is too out there I may call for a die roll to see if an item/event is present (such as an unlocked door, nearby fire extinguiser, etc...) or say that it is not possible in the current situation (such as a loaded gun being on the ground in a haunted house, that your character is half werewolf/vampire, etc...).

Homebrew rules

None that I can think of.
