About the adventure

You’re edgerunners: mercenaries, criminals, specialists, and desperate people willing to take the jobs everyone else refuses. This time, it looks simple: a delivery, a paycheck, a few hours of work. Easy money. But they say there’s no such thing as easy money and you’re about to find out why. This is an introductory Cyberpunk RED short, 100% original adventure, designed for both experienced players and newcomers to the game. The story takes place in my version of Melbourne, a setting I’ve used for several adventures in the past and developed with its own lore, characters, factions, and history. This means the city has its own identity while still fitting within the world of Cyberpunk RED.

About me

Hello! I’m a huge nerd and a TTRPG enthusiast with around 12 years of experience as a GM. Over the years, I’ve played and run a wide variety of systems, developing a particular passion for simulationist games, science fiction, horror and cybepunk. More generally, though, what I look for in games is consistency: I like worlds that have rules, where things make sense, and where the different elements of the story fit together. I like depth in everything. I want games to leave a mark, for decisions to have weight, and for something to have genuinely happened by the end of a session that was worth experiencing. I've played and run many different systems and genres, but I tend to gravitate towards games with deep worldbuilding, interesting mechanics, and worlds that feel like they exist beyond the players. And I'm pretty funny too, maybe (I hope)

Character creation

Creating your character

Pre-generated characters will be provided. To keep the game moving and make the adventure accessible to new players, characters will be ready to play before the first session. Each character will have their own Role, skills, equipment, cyberware, and a short background tied to the setting. You’ll be able to choose the character that fits your playstyle, and we’ll go over their abilities and mechanics together before we start. No previous Cyberpunk RED experience is required.

Safety

How Abaddon creates a safe table

Before the game, we’ll go over Lines & Veils together so everyone can clearly communicate what they are and aren’t comfortable with. Lines are topics that won’t appear in the game, while Veils are topics that can exist in the story but won’t be described in detail. Players can also bring up or change their boundaries at any point during the game. After every game there we also be a moment for every possible feedback and notes, don't be shy
