About the adventure
A long term campaign that will run up to about level 10-12, featuring multiple factions, random encounters by region, Hunting/Fishing/Foraging random tables by region, and a simple custom alchemy and potions system. Tall tales told of a place wrought with the plague of unknown magic. A supernatural disease that lay claim to the land and its creatures. The wildlife, mutated into vicious aberrations with a taste for blood. And the plants, twisted and gnarled, growing to defend itself from beast and man alike. The woodlands there exhale a fog that draws the beasties. if the fog finds you, Abhorrent creatures of the night are sure to follow…

Preparing for the session
Please have an account for AlchemyRPG.com. This is my VTT of choice. It is free to sign up and the game will be played fully through your browser. (you do not need discord or any other programs downloaded to play my games.
What Hugo brings to the table
I'll be supplying a cheery attitude and my 14 years of experience with TTRPG's. Feel free to ask any questions as we gather to create a few characters.
Homebrew rules
I run Rules As written, (with rule of cool exceptions), except for these few changes (specifically for this campaign). Healing potions, Bonus action to roll for healing. Standard action heals for the full amount. Your choice. Short rests take 4 hours, you can camp and short rest anywhere. Long rests take 8 hours. You cannot take a long rest camping in the wild. (circumstances vary) Recover 1 level of exhaustion when sleeping 8 hours anywhere. Recover all exhaustion when sleeping 8 hours in a bed within a safe area. Whenever you recover from 0 Hit points, gain 1 level of exhaustion.
