About the adventure
Come join this fun beginner-friendly one-shot. While enjoying your time off with your party in a quaint, charming village, you begin to hear soft baaa's and bleats. As your eyes wander to find where the source is coming from, you see a fluffy sheep with a scroll tied between its horns. Before you're able to discern this odd encounter, you see a tall, muscular half-orc approach with a handsome scowl and a large weapon. Who's this sheep? Who's this aggressor after? And why can't this party just enjoy a day off for once? This absurdist one shot if for magic lovers, tricksters, and adventurers who have any degree of experience with TTRPGs, veterans and noobies.

Creating your character
Create a level 4 character using either the 2014 or 2024, just don't mix and match. Because this is a one-shot, I'll just review your character sheet or help you make it beforehand if you're a new player wanting assistance.

What Briar - Dungeon Matron brings to the table
I will provide you with immersive settings and prompts for you to engage with. I'll propel the story forward and take you for a ride. I follow my heart when it comes to rules and prioritize the story over strict bylaws. I prefer not to get held up by initiative and use it more as an ebb-and-flow of action and reaction. This one-shot uses maps, and theater of the mind. I'm no voice actor but I try to embody the characters I portray. I'm roleplay-heavy and try to engage my players in the moment, keeping them in character and in the story.
Homebrew rules
I'll keep things grounded. My ruling is final tho I don't mind when players ask for exceptions. Trust that I have the best intentions for you and your character.
