About the adventure

The Crawfish Wheel is a large paddle boat used for parties and celebrations. You will enjoy a lovely array of seafood and some fine Southern dishes to eat. Enjoy some time to bask in the moonlight, looking at stars or the dimly lit floodplain forests. So come aboard for a 2-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi. Make it an event, unforgettable. This scenario takes place in mid-June 1927, where you will take a paddle boat down the Mississippi River. Near the town of Natchez, Mississippi, you will coast down the river at about 9 pm. Below are 3 characters that you can use for a Hook to get on the boat. Your characters can be any occupation you want and can be included in any way. - Samuel Napoleon is a finance broker who has just made a deal with a high-profile client and is here to celebrate the success. - Kelly Lu is a soon-to-be-retired local doctor who is having their retirement party on the boat. -Debra Loveday is a reporter who is planning on just having fun since her husband has died.

Character creation

Creating your character

There are multiple ways of creating a character, I just prefer the point system better but you may use any method you like. We can discuss how your character fit in with the story at the beginning of the session. I like if you have an character idea in mind, we can flesh out all the back stories out when we begin. You are Given 460 points to be put in any of the eight traits, with a max of 90 point on a trait. Something you may want to know before putting your traits together - Hit pints (HP) are adding your SIZ and CON together and divided by 10 ex 60 SIZ + 40 CON is 10 HP - Sanity Points (SAN) is the value of your POW Luck is 3d6 * 5 For Skill point you will have 320 point that are involved in your job/person (ex is a cop or chef) and 150 of personal interest. (Ex likes cooking or hunting) If you want help creating your character you could wait so I or other people may help you.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

-A mic would be easiest but I'm ok with typing on Discord. - A way to see on discord so may need descent internet. -Have a way of keeping track of your points because you will lose some SAN, LUCK, or HP - A base line of what type of character you want but maybe not a full flesh character yet

What Ed the Editor brings to the table

I will also use the screen sharing to show you a board of the area and some hand outs to give out in discord. I’m more flexible with the rules and more for a fun experience. I'm very creative and if a better option is available, may change or a way that may support you more.
