About the adventure
Before the coming Reign of the Weredragon campaign, there was a different Zmensk- a kingdom of prosperity, scholarship, and peace beneath the watchful rule of the Dragon Warden. These one-shots take you back to the years before the fall, letting you step into the lives of the people who witnessed the events that would eventually reshape the kingdom forever. Across several standalone adventures, you’ll uncover pieces of Zmensk's forgotten history: the night an abbey burned, the secrets left behind by its dead, the rise of the kingdom’s peacekeepers, the disappearance of the stars’ last great reader, and the final days of the Dragon Warden himself. Each story stands on its own, but together they reveal a larger truth about Forlorne, Velimir, and the birth of the Weredragon’s reign. These are not stories about heroes who already know how the world ends. They are the stories of people living through it. What begins as ordinary quests, celebrations, investigations, and acts of service will slowly reveal the cracks beneath Zmensk's golden age and prepare you for the world you will inherit when Reign of the Weredragon begins.
