About the adventure
🎯 Hunter x Hunter: 5E 🧬 📜 System: D&D 5E (Heavily Customized) ⚔️ Genre: Shōnen Fantasy • Tactical Adventure • Mystery 🎭 Tone: Sharp • Deadly • Personal 🧠 Campaign Description: 👣 The Hunter Exam is not a test. It’s a trap with rules that lie, people who kill, and choices that scar. 🌍 In a world where Aura — or Nen — bends reality, Hunters are licensed explorers, assassins, scholars, and criminals. They chase monsters, uncover ancient secrets, infiltrate syndicates, and sometimes become monsters themselves. You begin as a Hunter Candidate: ⚖️ Unknown, untrained, but full of potential. 💡 Will you pass? Will you survive? 🩸 Or will the world chew you up before you can leave your mark? And if you do pass… That’s when the real game begins. 🧭 What to Expect: 🎲 Skill-based survival trials and social traps 🧬 Custom Nen System (Aura types, signature powers, mastery trees) 🗺️ Non-linear arcs: pick your contracts, factions, and targets 💥 Tactical combat with movement, tricks, and tempo 🧩 Mysteries, betrayals, shifting alliances, emotional stakes 🗡️ Real danger — no plot armor, real consequences 📦 What I Provide: ⚒️ A fully adapted Hunter x Hunter experience in 5E 📚 Lore, visuals, NPCs, and region dossiers 🎮 Interactive mission board and faction system 📓 Recaps, downtime support, training, and exploration mechanics 🛡️ Full safety tools, debriefing, and tone adjustments 🧪 Optional permadeath mode, with "legacy" rewards for future characters

What Manu brings to the table
GM Style Expect a mix of roleplay, tactical combat, and tough choices. I focus on player-driven stories, evolving relationships, and long-term consequences. The world reacts to what you do — allies remember favors, enemies plot revenge. I reward clever thinking, creative use of abilities, and character growth. This is a grounded world with bursts of weirdness and power. Not everything is fair. Not everyone is honest. But everything matters. Tone shifts between lighthearted adventure, psychological tension, and moral complexity. Think Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Made in Abyss — wonder with teeth. What I Will Provide A custom 5E adaptation with optional Aura mechanics (Nen system) A living world with factions, politics, monsters, and mysteries Tactical combat with meaningful stakes (death is real) Player-driven arcs that evolve over time Custom maps, visuals, and handouts Recaps and downtime summaries Safe tools for consent, comfort, and tone adjustments A mix of personal quests and epic-scale threats Opportunities for clever problem-solving, not just combat

How Manu creates a safe table
This campaign includes tools to make sure everyone feels comfortable and respected at the table. Here’s what we’ll use: Session Zero: We’ll talk about tone, expectations, lines (hard limits), and veils (fade-to-black). Lines & Veils List: A shared checklist to define what content is off-limits or should be handled with care. X-Card: Anyone can pause the game at any time if something feels wrong or uncomfortable—no explanation needed. Check-Ins: I’ll check in before, during, and after sessions if needed to make sure everyone’s doing okay. Debrief together: Talk about what worked, what felt heavy, or what we’d like to handle differently next time.
