About the adventure

Gold buys swords. Reputation buys heroes. Across the realm, monsters stalk forgotten roads, ancient ruins hide dangerous secrets, and townsfolk whisper of troubles beyond the reach of local guards. When ordinary people face extraordinary threats, they turn to those willing to answer the call: adventurers for hire. You are members of a growing adventuring company seeking fame, fortune, and purpose in a world overflowing with opportunity. One day you may be tracking a beast through enchanted forests; the next, recovering a lost relic from a crumbling ruin, negotiating peace between rival factions, or uncovering mysteries buried for centuries beneath the earth. Every contract offers rewards, but also the chance to leave your mark on the world. As your company earns renown, greater opportunities—and greater dangers—will follow. Powerful patrons will seek your aid, old enemies may return for vengeance, and the secrets you uncover could change the fate of kingdoms. The question is not whether adventure awaits, but what kind of legends you will become.

About me

Hi, I'm Nova! I've been playing tabletop RPGs for over 20 years and GMing since the D&D 3.5 era. I enjoy running character-focused, collaborative games where player choices matter and everyone has a chance to shine. My style emphasizes roleplay, creativity, and building memorable stories together in a welcoming environment for both new and experienced players. Whether you're here for adventure, character growth, or a few unexpected twists, my goal is to make sure everyone has fun and feels included.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done through Demiplane or Heart of Daggerheart, whichever you prefer. All official Daggers classes and ancestries are welcome, and we’ll be starting at Level 1.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Before the game begins, players will need a Discord account and access to the campaign Discord server, where all play-by-post roleplay, communication, and game materials will take place.

What Nova brings to the table

* Roleplay first: I love character moments, relationships, exploring the world, and letting Roleplay first: I love character moments, relationships, exploring the world, and letting your character’s personality matter. * Rule of Cool: I generally favor creative ideas over saying ā€œno.ā€ If you can describe something awesome and it makes sense in the fiction, I’ll usually find a way to make it work. * Rules with flexibility: I know the rules and use them as a foundation, but I’m not interested in stopping the story over minor technicalities. We can always discuss a ruling if something feels unclear. * Combat with purpose: Combat is part of the adventure, but this isn’t a tactical combat simulator. Encounters are designed to be exciting and meaningful rather than constant. * Collaborative worldbuilding: Your character’s history, choices, and ideas can become part of the world. Safety

How Nova creates a safe table

Player safety and comfort come first. Before the campaign, everyone will complete a Lines & Veils form, and Session 0 will cover boundaries, expectations, character concepts, and table etiquette. We’ll use digital X, N, and O safety tools through Discord, including private messages, and anyone can pause, skip, or fade-to-black a scene without needing to explain why. I’ll check in after intense scenes, welcome private feedback, and adjust the game when needed. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and unwanted PvP aren’t welcome—I want this to be a collaborative, inclusive space where everyone can enjoy telling a great story together.
