About the adventure

Phareflaw Lighthouse has gone dark. Perched above a treacherous stretch of coastline, its light guides the ships that keep Saltport fed, fueled, and running. Without it, every voyage through the fog risks crashing against the cliffs. Cross the frigid coast, brave the strange creatures emerging from the fog, and discover what happened to Phareflaw’s missing wicktender. The lighthouse has been dark all winter, and something inside has had plenty of time to settle in. Fog Over the Dark Beacon is a short adventure for Time Without Tide, a Faux-victorian setting writhing in the wake of the Unknown, where the familiar rarely stays that way for long. Expect exploration, bizarre monsters, dangerous encounters, and plenty of opportunities for creative problem-solving as you race to restore the lighthouse before the fog claims anything else. The light has gone out. Delver, go turn it back on.

About me

Hail and well met! I'm Cammi—a storyteller, writer, and nationally awarded public speaker. I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2018 and have spent years running both published adventures and homebrew campaigns in the D&D 5e system. Whether I'm guiding heroes through epic battles, political intrigue, magical mysteries, or character-driven role play, my goal is always to create a welcoming table where every player gets a chance to shine. I believe that there is a unique style of storytelling that only TTRPGs can offer. When we immerse ourselves in a story, adopting the motivations, hopes, and fears of our characters, we learn something new about ourselves and the world around us. New to D&D? I'd love to help you learn. Seasoned Dice Goblin? Bring your wildest character concepts and let's build something amazing together. A little more about me: • Favorite fantasy series: The Legend of Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore • Biggest GM inspiration: Matt Mercer • Favorite campaign I've run: A year-long Strixhaven University adventure full of magical hijinks, friendships, and chaos Outside of gaming, I'm an advocate for girls and women with ADHD and was honored to recently be named NAAM's Elite National Spokesmodel with for my speech, "A Girl Like Me: The Hidden Face of ADHD."

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Before the game, I will invite you to a discord server, and within that server you'll get an invite link for the VTT. Be sure to have a Discord account in advance.

What Cammi brings to the table

You can expect a video call over discord (camera optional, of course!) with background music to set the tone for the game. As a GM, I do my best to make every game immersive, so be ready for rich descriptions, fun accents, and choices that truly impact your character and the environment around you. My games are typically a mix of roleplay, combat, and puzzles.

Safety

How Cammi creates a safe table

At the beginning of the session, we will take a few minutes to set expectations and boundaries so that everyone has the best experience possible! We will utilize digital X, N, & O's (direct message me during games with these if needed). I usually implement a mid-game break for 10 minutes.
