About the adventure
A dark shadow has fallen over the enchanted forest. The evil sorcerer Kelek has ambushed Uni, the beloved baby unicorn, callously sawing off her magical horn to fuel a sinister cosmic ritual. Without her horn, Uni’s power is fading fast—and time is running out. Guided by helpful woodland sprites, your party must dive into danger: clash with Kelek’s vicious bullywug minions guarding a misty woodland pool, rescue Uni, and plunge through a swirling planar rift. Inside an unstable demiplane on the brink of total collapse, you’ll confront Kelek in an arcane showdown to reclaim the horn and restore balance before the pocket dimension tears itself apart! Tuned as a fast-paced, 2.5- to 3-hour heroic rescue mission for 4th-level adventurers using the 2024 ruleset. Jump straight into the nostalgic high-fantasy action with classic 1980s cartoon vibes, dynamic tactical combat, and high planar stakes!

About me
Whether you are looking for a fast-paced live campaign or the flexibility of a Play-by-Post adventure, I am dedicated to making your TTRPG experience seamless and immersive. While I am newer to the world of D&D, I am deeply passionate about education and bringing new players into this incredible hobby. As an instructional designer by training, I pride myself on breaking down the aspects of D&D that can feel intimidating or confusing... providing them in "smaller bites" so everyone can achieve maximum enjoyment without the overwhelm. To support my players, I also create immersive tutorials and custom infographics that clarify mechanics and lore at a glance. My goal is to bridge the gap between complex systems and great storytelling, ensuring every player feels confident and empowered at my table.

Creating your character
📚 Allowed Books & Character Options The Core Engine: We are strictly using the 2024 Player's Handbook rules for character creation options (species, classes, and backgrounds). Supplemental Material: Options from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and Xanathar's Guide to Everything are perfectly fine to use for subclasses and spells, provided they align with the 2024 rule framework.

How Carolyn creates a safe table
🛠️ The Safety Toolkit Lines and Veils: Before our first session, everyone will receive a digital link to an anonymous Lines and Veils form. This allows you to privately list hard boundaries (Lines) and elements you want faded to black (Veils). Digital X, N, & O Cards: Because we are playing live over Discord, we use discrete, digital safety triggers. You can drop an [X] (Stop/Edit out), [N] (Veil/Fade to black), or [O] (Keep going/Checking in) right in our dedicated game text channel at any point during play. Open Door Policy: You are always free to step away from the mic or table if you feel overwhelmed, no explanations or apologies required.
