About the adventure

"In the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, you are completely expendable." Deep beneath the hive city of Tertium, a heretical rot is festering. The Moebian 6th regiment has betrayed the Imperium, unleashing a horrific Nurgle plague that turns citizens into slavering Poxwalkers. You aren't legendary Space Marines or elite Inquisitors. You are Rejects—convicts pulled from a prison barge, handed a flashlight and a shovel, and told to earn your redemption in blood. Your mission? Descend into the Snake Stack, a titanic, rust-choked cargo elevator sinking miles into the toxic depths of the hive. Your goal there is to recover a cogitator. That's what they tell you, anyway... So why did I mention Poxwalkers above? You're in no position to ask questions. Just do as you're told! If you fail, the hive becomes your tomb. The odds are stacked against you. You will need to work with your teammates and play off of each other's skills in order to survive the hordes. Lock and load!! The Emperor protects... but a Chainsword definitely helps. 🎮 Why This Campaign Is For You! • Completely Beginner Friendly: Never played Wrath & Glory? Perfect! This campaign is a built-in tutorial. We will learn the rules together step-by-step as we play. Though there is a large focus on combat, you will need to use all of your skills to navigate the world, its hazards, and it's inhabitants! • Official Foundry VTT Experience: We are using the fully automated, official Cubicle 7 modules for Darktide Extraction -- automated dice pools, tracking macros, and so much more! The VTT does all the heavy lifting for you. • Living Hub World: Interact with different factions in the Hive and decide who you help and who you betray. Your decisions have an effect on what you have access to. • Import Your Video Game Hero: Do you play the Darktide video game? The official module we're using lets you instantly import your actual video game character into the tabletop RPG! If you want to do that, I'll teach you how! • Short Campaign: No long commitments -> Just long enough to get a good idea of the system if you're new, and an interesting new take on the game system if you're an experienced vet! ** There will be an opportunity to switch to a full Wrath & Glory campaign afterwards if you want to continue with a new character and a new story! ** 📝 Game Details & Expectations • System: Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory. You will play as a Tier 2 "Reject" in this Campaign and we will use archetypes (classes) similar to the video game. Choose from any of the Core Rulebook's Tier 1 or Tier 2 archetypes, or play as an Ogryn Warrior! • Tone: Gritty, action-packed, cooperative sci-fi survival. You will need to navigate the world hazards and negotiate with the different factions you encounter. Actions you take will have permanent consequences throughout the rest of the story! • Sessions will be approximately 3 hours long with a 5~10 minute break around the halfway point.
