About the adventure
You and a group of your cohorts are sent into the jungles of Sobrecielo to complete your final test in order to pass your Yecoye. If you complete this quest, you will truly become adults and official citizens of Tonametzil. This one-shot is set in a homebrew world on a continent known as Sobrecielo. The setting is influenced by the jungles of Central and South America and leans heavily into Aztec aesthetics. This game is designed to introduce new players to Daggerheart and to the setting of Sobrecielo. All players are welcome, no experience needed! About me
Hello and thank you for your interest in me as a GM. I love playing games and in my opinion, TTRPGs are the best kind of games. There are so many facets to them and many ways to make them fun. I started by learning D&D and I'm starting to get more into Daggerheart and hope to try out a few other systems as I go. I have enjoyed playing TTRPGs, but what I love most is teaching new people how to play. My goal as a DM is to create a challenging yet fun experience that will be rewarding to everyone at the table. Creating your character
Character creation will be discussed in the Discord. A Demiplane account (free) will be helpful for this. I will be happy to guide anyone who needs help in creating a character for this one-shot.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord will be used for discussion leading up to the game and Zoom will be used for voice/video chat (video is not required). Foundry will be used as VTT. No need to pay for subscriptions to any of these, the free versions are all you need.
What Lykos brings to the table
I'm mostly a Rules as Written GM but I do appreciate when my players come up with clever ideas so I tend to lean into the Rule of Cool at times. As this is a learn-to-play I will be more lenient on rules as the goal is to teach the game in a fun and light environment. As stated before, no experience is required to play this one-shot. I will teach as we go and do my best to ensure that all at my table leave more confident in playing the game.
