About the adventure

Sir Alvares Diego has spent his entire life hunting monsters. At least, that's what the stories say. Now old, exceedingly wealthy, and apparently incapable of taking anything too seriously, the legendary hunter has invited a small band of capable adventurers to his sprawling country estate. The wine is excellent. The hospitality is impeccable. The portraits of his ancestors are... strangely familiar. And somewhere beyond the walls of his vineyard, a creature Alvares claims to have hunted for what feels like lifetimes has appeared once again. He intends for this to be his final hunt. He needs you to help him finish it. What begins as an eccentric old hunter's retirement expedition soon becomes something considerably stranger. Old records contradict one another. Stories about the creature stretch back further than they should. Alvares seems remarkably unconcerned by danger. And when the hunt finally catches up with him, you may discover that killing the monster was never the difficult part. The difficult part is deciding how this story should end. Expect 🩸 Gothic monster hunting Track an elusive supernatural creature through a landscape marked by old hunts, plague, and unfinished business. 🔎 Investigation & environmental storytelling Explore Alvares' estate, uncover hidden rooms, examine centuries of hunting records, and piece together a story your host would rather tell in his own time. 🎭 Character-driven roleplay Your relationship with Sir Alvares sits at the heart of the adventure. Trust him, challenge him, indulge him, or start pulling at the increasingly suspicious threads in his story. ⚔️ Cinematic combat Face plague-touched creatures, supernatural hunters, and a climactic boss encounter designed around more than simply reducing something to zero HP. 🕯️ Secrets that change the hunt The creature you're pursuing has a history. So does Alvares. What you learn may completely change what "winning" means. ⚖️ A finale shaped by your choices There is no single predetermined ending. What happens when hunter and hunted finally meet depends on what the party discovers and what you decide to do with it.

About me

🎭 𝕬𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝕸𝖊 I run games for immersion. For me, that means more than music, maps, character voices, or atmospheric scenes, although you can expect plenty of those. It means creating a table where your character feels like they genuinely belongs in the world and where the choices you make leave a mark on it. 🌲 I care much more about your characters than protecting the world I've written. My prep exists to give you something interesting to interact with, not to funnel you toward a predetermined story. 🎧 I use music, ambience, sound effects, expressive NPCs, beautiful scenes and battlemaps to help the world disappear around the edges of the table. 🧩 I love weaving character backstories, relationships and decisions into the campaign. If you give me something to work with, I will use it. ✨ My favorite moments are when everyone forgets we're playing a game for a second.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters begin at Level 5, giving you access to enough abilities to make bold choices from the very beginning. Bring a character who has a reason to answer the invitation of a legendary monster hunter. You might be: - an experienced hunter hoping to learn from a living legend; - a scholar studying the Beastly Plague; - a mercenary attracted by the Diego fortune; - an occultist interested in Alvares' unusually long family history; - someone whose home has already encountered the creature; - or simply an adventurer incapable of ignoring the phrase "one final hunt." Characters should be willing to investigate, engage with NPCs, and eventually put themselves in extremely unreasonable amounts of danger.
