About the adventure
This dark survival game, is World of Darkness played with inspiration from Twilight 2K's World War setting with a twist. A homebrewed history of the world for WW3 to be involving many different countries split in various ways. The twist is as the first attacks begin the Zombie Apocalypse begins as well. This can be played by a mix of civilian and military based characters. Players will get to begin the first actual session with going about their "normal" life and watch World War 3 and the Zombies unravel from day one of the apocalypse. Survival is more than protecting themselves, but also learning who is friend or foe, and where their next meal will come from.

About me
I have been DMing for over a decade for mostly family and friends. During my college years I was running games for the local clubs and stores for fun. As of recent I've been building my own TTRPGs, but I know several systems from: standard DnD 5e and 3.5, Pathfinder 1 and 2e, New WoD, miscellaneous anime flavored systems, and even off the wall systems like Twilight 2k. I see myself as a world builder to tell stories in with the players. I prefer long campaigns over one-shots. I particularly enjoy running multiple campaigns in the same world so other groups and parties can interact and work with it against each other. When it comes to genre I am a huge fan of Horror and creepy themes, but also of grand war games style.

Creating your character
We will hold a Session 0, which will be free, and use that time to go over characters, plot, and backstories.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All I will need from you is: a discord to join the server, Roll20, and your finest Tabletop excitement.
What Travis brings to the table
I will provide ambient music, and links to playlists for music. This game will have intense roleplay situations paired with unfair combat. The gameplay of this even though using WoD as the system, is heavily inspired by Twilight 2K and Escape From Tarkov. I like to voice act during roleplay moments to help differ from my narration voice. For rules I will stick to them as close as possible, but I don't shy from Rule of Cool if I think finding a rule takes too long.
Homebrew rules
I like to do some homebrew, but it is mostly additional items, weapons, and other equipment. Any other homebrew we can go over in session 0 in case there is one I don't particularly use that the majority players want.

How Travis creates a safe table
During the Session 0 I will go over and make sure I have a strong understanding of everyone's triggers. I will also remind everyone that I am an open book, so if there is any concerns after or between games you can always reach out to me. Lastly, I will check in with everyone after every session especially after strong roleplay sessions.
