With my background in performing arts, I love bringing the world to life through character voices, vivid descriptions, and engaging storytelling. About me
I’m an artist with a passion for storytelling and visual expression. This creative journey began in 2010. Before diving into visual art, I studied performing arts at the Young Americans College of Performing Arts I had the incredible opportunity to travel to over 7 different countries, including Germany, Latvia, Switzerland, Lithuania, Poland, and more as a performer and instructor. In 2023 I attended my first Renaissance Festival and was immediately hooked! I enjoyed the atmosphere, shows, markets and the role playing of characters. At one of these events, they were hosting a dungeons and dragons booth. I was introduced to the game and have not stopped since. I enjoy the creativity that goes into tabletop and want to provide the same experience I had by gathering other like-minded people together to have a great time conquering adventures together. I currently am an ambassador for a local store and run games monthly.

Creating your character
How should your players create their characters? Before the games starts have your character sheets completed, including stats, abilities, equipment, and spells, at the adventure's recommended starting level. Use standard array for stats. Character creation is with 5e rules. Have your character ready before the session so we can focus on the adventure and storytelling. New players are welcome! If you need help creating your character, I'm happy to assist before the session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Create your character: Build your character if needed in D&D Beyond using the approved D&D 5E rules and adventure starting level. Starting level 3 Prepare your equipment: Review your character sheet and make sure your spells, abilities, and equipment are ready. Join the game: A link will be provided prior to the game we will be using vorpal board. Dice: You are welcome to use your own physical dice from home. Bring your favorite set and roll along with the adventure!
What Carlos brings to the table
I enjoy using character voices, expressive storytelling, and vivid descriptions to bring the world and its characters to life. The game will be displayed with live terrain through video on vorpal board giving closest experience to playing in person. You can expect a balance of roleplay, exploration, and exciting combat, where teamwork and player choices matter. I encourage creativity and enjoy embracing the Rule of Cool when it makes sense for the story, while using the rules as a foundation for fair and consistent gameplay. When rules questions arise, we'll work together to find a solution that keeps the game moving and enjoyable. My table is built around respect, collaboration, and having fun. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to D&D, I want everyone to feel welcome, have their moment to shine, and help create an adventure worth remembering.

How Carlos creates a safe table
