About the adventure
Auril the Frostmaiden, has cast a terrible spell over Icewind Dale, to the detriment of most of its denizens. Each night before midnight, Auril takes to the sky on the back of a white roc and weaves her spell, which manifests as a shimmering curtain of light—a beautiful aurora that illuminates the night sky and fades before dawn. This powerful magic prevents the next day’s sun from rising above the horizon. You as adventures do your best to help out the different towns near Icewind Dale. And gather all you can before attempting to save Icewind Dale from it's terrible fate.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Greetings! My name is Bryan but you can call me Plumb. I have been a Game Master for a while, I play primarily Dungeon and Dragons 5th edition and 5.5, but I have been wanting to run other systems. I have been told that I'm a very worthy wizard and a flawless duck enthusiast. Some things about me: - I like ducks If you have any questions let me know. I can't wait to run some games and have some fun :)

Creating your character
Will this happen during the first session, or before it starts? -Preferably during session 0, but you can theory craft before that. How will stats be decided? - we will use point buy. Where will the characters be created? - you can create them in D&D beyond, or alternatively you can create them directly into the foundry server. Are there any specific books they should or shouldn't refer to? - you can use any of the wotc 5.5 books, monsters of the multiverse (exclude the stats from the species), and third party approved by me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord for voice calls and messages. And you will need a PC that can run any simple browser for the foundry virtual table top
What Plumb brings to the table
I try to run my games as close to Rules As Written as possible. Using foundry vtt you can visualize the battle field or player role-play moments. I try and be an open DM rolling on the table for all to see, and giving my players more in-depth knowledge about current situations. I'm here to have fun, and I want everyone at the table too as well, so lets do that.
