Embark! Adventure In New Orba (Beginner Friendly)

About the adventure

Welcome to Arcannia. An aetherpunk setting filled with pirate's, magic knights, bounty hunters, and the gods are giant kaiju. I've been working on Arcannia for nearly 3 years and this short campaign works as an introduction for both new player's, and player's with experience. I like to create my own monsters and grunts so min-maxing is encouraged(to a certain degree, don't just make the combat about yourself). Not all encounters will involve combat of course. I include puzzles and role-playing based encounters you can't just magic missile your way out of. The setting has some aspects of mystery, eldritch horror, and government conspiracy. The lore and world building is not set in stone, and I'm open to any ideas that might help improve the setting. I try and stick to the rules as written as much i can, but i tend to follow the rule of cool so the game doesn't constantly stop so we can keep referencing The Sacred Text(aka The Players Handbook). The setting is heavily inspired by some my favorite pieces of media like One Piece, Naruto, Arcane, and Avatar The Last Airbender. Also video games like Pokémon Emerald and Final Fantasy 16. Anyways, here's the plot of Embark! Off the coast of Vytania lies a small, humble island named New Orba. The island is mostly known for distributing healing potions and various adventuring supplies. This makes New Orba frequented by a number of adventures both old and new. In an attempt to make a name for themselves, and to cut down on any new competition. The Lavender Pirates led by their Captain Omulyn Lantris, have taken over the island of New Orba. The crew has seized the healing potions operation, and have imprisoned anyone who's tried stopping them. Now, a group of unfamiliar trailblazers yearning to start their adventuring career's must band together and find a way to take back the island.
