About the adventure
"What impossible landscapes wait beyond the cracked corners of this false world?" -Act II, Scene 4, The King in Yellow A horror freed from an antique book reverberates through reality, shaking things, reordering them and making them run like wax. Doors open to endless Victorian hallways where threats stalk the shadows on clockwork limbs, cold metal seeking the warmth of blood and bone. Madness pursues at every turn, baring its teeth to speak your name, and you can’t escape because it’s inside you. This is Impossible Landscapes, an ambitious and epic series of Delta Green operations that chronicles the story of your agent as you investigate the disappearance of a young woman in New York City in the year 1995. As you uncover more clues and begin to piece together what happened, your agent will lose their grip on reality and slowly descend into madness as they fall ever deeper into the sinister web of the King in Yellow.

About me
I've been obsessed with RPGs since I was in middle school and my friend handed me the D&D 4e handbook. I've been playing RPGs off and on through various one-shots and mini-campaigns since high school. Those early years my DMing career consisted mostly of my brother and I messing around in one-on-one sessions. Things really started kicking off for me in college, where I ran and played in multiple campaigns. I ran Star Wars FFG, Legend of the Five Rings FFG and The Expanse campaigns throughout my college years. It was also around this time that I started learning and performing Improv, which hugely impacted how I ran and played the game, as well as shaped me as a storyteller. I generally enjoy a lot of narrative and roleplay, with a healthy dose of combat, and lately my goals for DMing include improving my combat encounters. Join my games if you want something other than D&D5e! My favorite systems right now include: Mothership, Delta Green, Forged in the Dark, Cosmere RPG, and Carved from BrindleWood!

Creating your character
We will do character creation together in Session Zero in Roll20. After we roll up our characters, we'll spend some time asking some questions of each other's characters that further develop who they are as people before the investigation begins.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need to do to prepare is friend me on Discord (PentaPo#5614) and create a Roll20 account. I'll handle the rest!
What PentaPo brings to the table
Delta Green is a horror and investigation game. But it's also about your agent and the way their life in Delta Green erodes their personal lives. As a GM, I will bring these characters to life and make your agent seem like a real human being with real lives. Likewise, I will also put your character through the ringer. You will experience horrific encounters and your actions will have real, tangible consequences. This will be a theater of the mind game, but we will be using roll20 as your place to house all of the evidence you will aquire over the course of the investigation.
