About the adventure
After an ambush by the Bone Gang rats while traveling back to Brickport, you, the sole survivors, try to rest for the night at an inn built inside a drum. This wonderful Stone Castle, abandoned by humans, is full of surprises. What are those cultists doing? What strange Magics are they using? You will fight obscure cults, free princes, and shower yourself in treasure in this tiny sized adventure! Don a thimble and needle and become a Mausritter! In this rules-lite game you can explore the world of humans and have mice-sized adventures. Anything becomes an obstacle, and usually chill, friendly cats are the strongest of opponents. You will encounter cursed mice, slay time bending automatons, and race other creatures in a paper boat in the pond to appease the great Frogacle!! What will you decide to do? Will you give the crown back to the Queen of the Orchard, or will you sell it for a new armour? The adventure starts in the charming village of Brickport, where a cheese grater is a temple and the terracotta vase is the town hall, and then find your way towards adventure locations to try and get as much loot as you want. No classes, no species, only your mice and your wits. This is an OSR-Style game, that means your stats matter less than your creativity. Dice is your enemy, and you need to inch closer and closer to victory with every fight.

About me
Heyo, I'm Shiv! I've been playing D&D for over a decade now and have DMed regularly since 2018. I have since branched out to other systems, to learn lessons from all of them that i can bring to the table. The main thing I would say about myself is that I tend to really take to heart what my players tell me, and i try to manage tables where everyone knows they have their own say where the story is going. I truly believe that as the GM you should always challenge your players while being their FIRST and BEST fan; because of this difficult balance of challenge and heroism, I tend to check up on my players often as a sort of mini session 0: How's it going? How's your character feeling? Did you like that one side quest? Should we change that backstory of an NPC to maybe connect it to you? These are all questions that are in my mind when preparing a session and beyond. I've had experience as a tutor and teacher so I like to teach new people how to play RPGs together, so I have an easy time explaining the rules and helping players create characters that best fit their ideas.

Creating your character
Mausritter is a game purposefully made to be light in rules and easy to pick up. For this reason, characters will and must be done in the moment. Pregenerating a character can be done at https://mausritter.com/mouse but it really takes the fun out of making your own! We will have a short 30 minutes introduction on Discord (yes the rules are that easy to pick-up!), and i will explain the rules, help you create your mousy and get rollin!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will play through Discord, i will provide the free rules and PDF character sheet so you can dust up on character creation and the rules before the session. Combat in Mausritter is fast and deadly, so when it happens, it will be over theater of the mind.
What Shiv brings to the table
Mausritter is a game about mice left to their own devices in a world where humans are clueless giants. I use ambient music, as with every of my games, and I will try my best to roleplay rats and mice to the best of my ability. The rules are expressely light, to allow the players to have fun and explore RPGs in a safe environment, where the rules don't bog down the game!

How Shiv creates a safe table
I have an RPG Consent document you guys will fill out beforehand to clarify if anything is a veil or line to be avoided completely. I do my best to always follow these guidelines by the players without question. We can use DMs on discord for X cards or anything else, if anything arises DURING the session. This being a game about mice in a big house, the adventures will deal with tiny real world creatures.
