About the adventure
Have you ever thought "there aren't enough kobolds in this game"? Looking for more crafty teamwork hi-jinks? In this short campaign, you're *all* kobolds, and the fate of the colony is on your shoulders. Throw caution to the wind and discover how these reckless little creatures always seem to pry victory from the jaws of catastrophe. This is a campaign for players who love cunning strategies, unconventional heroes, and chaotic fun. Sure, it's got the high-stakes roleplay and combat you expect from a great campaign, but Kobold Quest gives you an excuse to go full kobold: set your own traps, stage a heist, dig tunnels, and design a dungeon.

About me
Heyo players, my name is Dylan. I started off with a few friends and a starter adventure at my kitchen table, and have been running games ever since. I like tea and TTRPGs, I like puzzles and mysteries, and I like writing stories at the table with all of you. Bring all your weirdest ideas to me, and let's see what meaning we can pull from the chaos.

Creating your character
🛠️ Tools We will use D&DBeyond’s character creation tool to build our characters during session 0. 1️⃣ Level Characters will begin at level 1. 📚 Classes/Species/Feats Species is Kobold, no exceptions. There are also some campaign-specific Feats and abilities. Otherwise, you can use anything available in my campaign on D&DBeyond, or anything you personally own. 🤝 Collaborative Character Creation If you have a character idea, leave some space to collaborate! This way you can have a shared history with other players. ⏪ Changing Characters Realize you don’t like how your character works? That’s OK, talk to me! We’ll figure something out.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need accounts for Discord (and optionally D&DBeyond), and you'll need a microphone and headset for voice communication. I'll use a webcam and you should feel free to use one as well. Beginner to D&D? Message me if you want help familiarizing yourself with the rules ahead of time, but don't worry, you'll learn as you play. ❓ Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns being prepared for your first game.
What Myrm (Dylan) brings to the table
I’ll make this story your story. Custom maps, dungeons, encounters, puzzles, characters, whatever; I’ll do it if it’s what the game needs. I do voices and use music, but my goal is to enhance, not distract. The 5.5e rules are a baseline, but I’ll homebrew depending on what makes the encounter smoother. My goal is to give the game enough structure that you feel the stakes, but flexible enough that we don’t shut down cool ideas. Losses feel fair, victories feel earned. I also like experimenting with minigames to introduce flavorful mechanics and playstyles.
Homebrew rules
There will likely be homebrew rules, but we'll talk about them when they come up. The game is a discussion, and we'll make sure decisions feel fair.

How Myrm (Dylan) creates a safe table
🗓️ Before Session 0, we'll discuss Lines and Veils and brainstorm character ideas. 🔨 During Session 0, we’ll review the Lines and Veils, and collaboratively finish our characters so everyone knows what to expect. 🎲 During play we'll use the X card when needed as a catch-all, but players are free to step away from the table if they need, and we'll try to take regular breaks to keep energy up.
