About the adventure
Fate is not written in stone. Or is it? In this short D&D campaign, the Deck of Many Things is more than a magic item: it is the engine of the story, the creator of heroes, the source of danger, and the hand that keeps pulling the party deeper into impossible adventures. Session 0 begins with a gamble. Instead of arriving with a fully planned character, you will draw cards to discover your species, class, and strange destiny. From there, the deck continues to shape the campaign: quests, locations, enemies, treasures, twists, and consequences may all be decided by the cards. This game is for players who enjoy surprise, chaos, roleplay, dangerous choices, and heroic weirdness. You do not need to know everything in advance. Bring curiosity, flexibility, and the courage to play the hero fate deals you.

About me
Too many ideas, never enough dice! Hi, my name is Kuba. I love tabletop RPGs where players can make meaningful choices, create memorable character moments, and enjoy a relaxed but well-structured table. I’ve been passionate about tabletop games for as long as I can remember. I run games as a GM for 3 years now. My games are friendly, immersive, and easy to get into. I care about clear communication, good pacing, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and immersed at the table. I’m happy to run for both experienced players and people who are completely new to RPGs. I run ambitious homebrew campaigns, emotional one-shots, and, if desired, custom-built adventures with familiar anime, pirate, court-intrigue etc. vibes. If you want a GM who brings story, humor, tension, and a welcoming table atmosphere, we’ll probably have a great time playing together ;)

Creating your character
Character creation begins with a draw from the Deck of Many More Things. In Session 0, each player will draw five cards that shape who their hero becomes: one card reveals your class and subclass, one reveals your species, and one reveals your background. The final two cards will remain a mystery until they are drawn. Do you dare ;) ? From then on you can build your character as you'd like You will not build a hero from a plan. You will discover one from fate.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord and either Owlbear Rodeo or Roll20 which we will determine together :)
What Kuba brings to the table
I do character voices as I love to do that, and I also storngly emphasize music in my sessions. I run intense tactical combat especially here where the deck of many things may or may not be drawn

How Kuba creates a safe table
My table is built on trust, clarity, and player agency. In Session 0, we will discuss tone, expectations, character creation, table etiquette, and safety tools. Since this campaign uses random card draws, I will make sure the surprise feels exciting, not uncomfortable or limiting. We will use Lines and Veils to decide which themes are off-limits, softened, or kept off-screen. I also use digital X, N, and O tools, which players can use publicly or privately at any time: X to stop or change a scene, N to slow down or steer away, and O to show that everything is okay. The story may be dangerous, strange, and unpredictable, but the players should always feel safe, respected, and in control of their own boundaries.
