About the adventure
The "Draconis Strain Trilogy" is a gripping, interconnected series of Cinematic Scenarios for the ALIEN RPG by Free League Publishing. The campaign tracks the outbreak and catastrophic consequences of the mutagenic 26 Draconis pathogen across distinct adventures. Draconis Strain Saga The Alternative "Machete Order" we will start with Hope's Last Day: the final hours of Hadley's Hope, all through the eyes of five colonist workers. It offers a brief taste of cinematic gameplay and drops the players straight into the action. The characters all have their own Agendas, Buddies, and Rivalries, but together they have one desperate collective mission: to escape Hadley's hope alive. Chariot of the Gods: Players take the roles of beleaguered space truckers responding to a distress beacon on a long-lost ghost ship, leading to a classic, claustrophobic derelict-crawl. Heart of Darkness: Set aboard the Erebos 01 plasma trawling station, players are tasked with a dangerous retrieval mission that quickly devolves into madness. Destroyer of Worlds: Players step into the boots of a squad of Colonial Marines dropped onto a frozen, war-torn world to survive a nightmare scenario. Then we will play through All the Frontier War missions from Cololnial Marines Operation Manual Survivors of Hadley’s hope becomes a member of the USCSS Montero as space truckers, ends up on the Cronus and survives again, goes through the events of destroyer of worlds and witnesses the border bombings, goes on a mission to find out why the space jockeys would want to destroy a colony by going to heart of darkness. Then the survivors will continue in the Frontier War missions from Colonial Marines. we will play all the other alien cinematic adventures I have most of them. Hadley’s Hope is a “shake and bake” terraforming and mining colony built 22 years ago by the Weyland-Yutani corporation on the barren moon. It is also your home, and the home of 153 other souls. Life in Hadley’s Hope usually means hard labor and few surprises, but four days ago something unusual happened. A wildcatter named Russ Jorden was sent out on an excursion beyond the Ilium Range and came back infected with something. He died, and some form of parasite disappeared into the guts of the base. Security had no luck catching the thing, and somehow more people were infected. Rumors say more have died, and that there are more of these parasites than the Operations Manager, Al Simpson, is admitting. Simpson called for calm over the intercoms. Soon after, a Weyland-Yutani corporate shuttle landed, carrying the company agent Miranda Reynolds and her chief science officer Theodora Komiskey. Simpson didn’t tell the colonists why just to assist the W-Y guests in any way you could. Crisis or not, you have a job to do. 24 hours ago, you headed out on a routine survey run to the Sacrum Range to the south, happy to leave base until the crisis blows over. Ten kilometers out, Singleton’s Daihotai Tractor gave up the ghost.

About me
I am 48 years old and have been playing RPGs for 40 years. I like most genres and have played many games of various editions. Most of my recent experience has been in D&D 5.5, pathfinder 2e, alien, fallout 2d20, and starfinder 2e, but, I am willing to run any system or genre. I am mostly available during the afternoons (GMT-6 zone) on week days and all days on the weekend. I prefer to run mostly core rules so that I can know what the rules are without going through 20 books. I prefer to run with experienced players but would not mind lending a hand to a beginning players. I usually ended up as forever DM; I enjoy this and want to expand my gaming experiences to other games. I enjoy dungeons and dragons, shadowdark, Pathfinder, starfinder, cyberpunk, savage worlds, Gurps, star wars, aliens, fallout 2d20, and call of Cthulhu. I have DM'd and enjoyed running these. I have been Game Mastering for tabletop roleplaying groups for the past 40 years, running many campaigns. I'm easygoing and relaxed when it comes to my style of Game Mastering, and I prefer to run things Rules as Written for fairness for all players. I'll give all players a fair deal and equal treatment. I may be relatively new to this rule set, but with tens of thousands of hours of experience in running games, you will get a handcrafted tale of your very own in the setting. My experience will help create a better game for you. Style of the Campaign and My Game Mastering.

What Draco brings to the table
I'm easygoing and relaxed when it comes to my style of Game Mastering, and I prefer to run things Rules as Written for fairness for all players. I'll give all players a fair deal and equal treatment. I have tens of thousands of hours of experience in running games, you will get a handcrafted tale of your very own in the Alien RPG setting. My experience will help create a better game for you. The Alien RPG rule set does wonders for roleplaying and combat. This campaign takes full advantage of that and the survival elements, to provide an open world in which to make your fortune. Thanks to the vast Alien RPG adventures, there is no shortage of adventures and quests awaiting you in space. I hope to craft stories personally to your characters agendas, based on decisions you make. I have over 40 years’ experience in Game Mastering, and plenty of experience improvising fresh changes to the plot and future developments in the campaign. There’ are plenty of threats overhanging the setting, I won’t pull a deus ex machina to save your character if you make very poor decisions. It is possible that you will stumble into encounters or situations in which you are woefully outgunned or outmatched by your opponents. Fleeing is a reasonable option that shouldn’t be discounted. As a Game Master, I usually am more about roleplaying than straight combat, so diplomacy should always be considered too. The factions and people present in the setting have objectives of their own, perhaps several, and monsters will behave realistically as well, without just attacking until everyone is dead, unless that’s what they are specifically attempting to do. Enemies should behave realistically and act as though they only have one life to live (unless they have more). Enemies and NPC should make the world feel as real as possible to the players. Player Expectations • My number one rule for all players in my game is: Don't be a jerk. Treat everyone with respect and as you would wish to be treated. I have a zero-tolerance policy for out of character or out of game abuse or mistreatment of other players. No one should ever have to feel as though they're under attack when they just want to have fun. • If there is a problem with the game, myself, or another player, bring it to me privately after or between sessions so that I can address whatever the issue may be quickly and efficiently. This includes any matters of debate you may have over my interpretation of the rules or rulings I may have made. We don't want to bog down in rules-lawyering during game time. • All players should be expected to roleplay in character, even if you're only comfortable doing it a little. I will try to insert your character's backstory into the larger campaign plot, so your character will have a personal investment tailored to you. This doesn't mean you have to do a silly voice, accent, or otherwise, just speak and say the things that your character would say
