About the adventure

Adam's Chosen: Campaign Introduction A thousand years ago, the world groaned under the rule of the angels. These celestial beings, with their blinding light and divine magic, created the fantasy races as pawns to serve their every whim. The elves were their scholars, the dwarves their craftsmen, the orcs their warriors, and humanity—the most abundant of all—became their slaves. The world was their domain, and none dared defy the heavens. But one hero stood against them. Adam, a man of unparalleled courage and strength, rose from the ranks of the oppressed. With sword in hand and fire in his heart, he gathered the races in rebellion. The angels were driven from the mortal plane, and Adam became a symbol of hope for all. Yet, as the ages passed, Adam’s bloodline vanished, and the memory of his deeds faded into legend. Now, the world is free—but freedom has a price. Humanity, once victims of the angels, now stands poised to take their place. Driven by greed and ambition, the humans of today are more like the angels than the world would care to admit. Across the land, kingdoms rise, and wars are fought over power, wealth, and dominion. In the town of Seameet Port, nestled by the roaring waves of the northern sea, a celebration is about to begin. Seameet is no ordinary town; it is the site of one of the greatest battles of the rebellion, where a group of mercenaries held off an angelic army long enough for Adam's forces to gain the upper hand. Now, its storied past is honored in festival, as the regional prince of the Province of Adam prepares for a grand visit. But beneath the merriment and color of the festival, dark forces stir. Whispers of forgotten angelic relics, old grudges, and ancient secrets fill the air. As tensions rise between the powerful noble houses and the common folk, a shadow looms over Seameet Port. The balance between freedom and tyranny hangs by a thread. The time has come for new heroes to rise.

About me

Hello, I am a Dungeon master who has done a lot of small campaigns and am hoping to expand my knowledge and complexity. I love fantasy and sci-fy. I believe the DM's job is to make his players have fun at the table since most rules leave a lot of liberty in their interpretation. I hope we make awesome adventures together

What AresL brings to the table

I often play by the rule of cool, expect your characters to be heroes and perform actions that are not common. I also like to start weak at level 1 to progress into greater powers as we carry on. I expect full roleplay sessions where little to no combat happens

Safety

How AresL creates a safe table

I am a dm that caters to the players, our limits and what players can handle will be handle in session 0 so we can all make this game fun. While i want this to be a dark fantasy story if players prefer I can turn a more lighthearted campaign!
