About the adventure
Welcome to the Adventurers’ Guild, where every legendary hero has to start somewhere. Whether this is your very first Dungeons & Dragons game or you’ve been rolling dice for years, this adventure is designed to bring a group of heroes together, teach new players naturally through play, and give experienced players plenty of opportunities for roleplay, exploration, combat, and character development. Your journey begins with Dragons of Stormwreck Isle. As newly recruited adventurers, you’ll travel to a mysterious island where the scars of an ancient conflict between dragons still shape the land. Strange creatures roam its shores, forgotten ruins hide beneath the surface, and powerful draconic forces have begun to stir once again. But Stormwreck Isle is only your first assignment. This campaign expands the adventure into the larger LanternForged Adventurers’ Guild, a living framework where your character can build a reputation, meet recurring NPCs, form friendships and rivalries, earn recognition within the Guild, and potentially continue into future adventures. Expect a balance of roleplay, exploration, mystery, humor, and tactical combat, with plenty of room for creative solutions. I encourage players to interact with the world rather than simply follow a predetermined path. Your decisions matter, and sometimes the most memorable parts of an adventure are the ones nobody—including the Dungeon Master—planned for. 🎲 New Players Are Welcome! You do not need to know how to play D&D before joining. I’m happy to help with character creation, explain rules as they become relevant, and walk you through combat, ability checks, roleplaying, and everything else along the way. You won't be expected to memorize a rulebook before your first session. Experienced players are equally welcome. About me
As you enter a tavern a scruffy man beckons you from across the crowded tavern to have a seat. He tells you his name is Mike and has been playing dnd for several years now as DM and player. I hold in-person sessions as well as online. Using tools such as roll20, dungeon alchemist, foundry vtt, discord, and dndbeyond. We play with ambience, epic music that can be adjusted on discord, sound boards for nat 1s and nat 20s, battle victories and fails. I will attempt to dazzle you with some voice acting and at times modify my voice with mic tuners should the situation call for it. Role play is entirely optional but completely appreciated. Some rules, while you're at this table, there will be no bullying, ignoring, or any other acts that may make other players feel unwelcome. While I believe in dnd 5e rules, appreciation for out of the box thinking is rewarded with inspiration as long as it does not disrupt the game and it's mechanics. Respect the rules, respect the DM and respect your fellow players but most of all remember this is a time to have fun, break away from real life and be in the moment. Creating your character
Session 0 will be held to discuss character creation dos and dont's. The team can work together to build a party that is best suited for the adventure. Or choose from a list of premade characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to join the LanternForged Studio discord, have a roll20 and dndbeyond account. As well as the beyond20 extension that I can walk you through to ensure rolls are transmitted from dndbeyond to roll20 easily.
What DM Mike brings to the table
Roll20, Discord, ambience, dndbeyond content, personalized token, (you can create image or I can supply based off your character image), I use AI generated images to develop your characters or if the party has an artist they prefer to use that will be welcomed!

How DM Mike creates a safe table
Players can expect quick combat depending on party size and encounters. Check ins and breaks are set for every 2 hours. And quick debrief after the adventure is held to discuss the session. Session 0 will be held for character creation and campaign discussion, roll20, discord and dndbeyond.com alignment.
