About the adventure
Dragonlance introduced me to the world of fantasy and I wish to share with you the wonder I still feel for this wonderful setting! This campaign will be for fans of Dragonlance or newcomers alike. I love the lore, I like to explore the lore through the world and the characters, and there is PLENTY to be had in this tasty, zesty adventure! This campaign contains some crunchy fan service for the veterans or newcomers alike, delivering deliciously tantalizing and sometimes hilarious circumstances that simultaneously entertain and lore dump. Let's laugh, let's love, and hopefully, nobody will lose a Kender to a boot off a cliff... *like i once did! people were sad...*

About me
It is true. I am a librarian. Follow this tale and you will find that not only am I trapped... Sometimes going mad, sometimes so overwhelmed with joy that my very soul weeps with the madness of it! Not ONLY am I here, forever, endlessly... But I have finally learned to tell you about it. I look forward to you joining me for the sharing of the many wondrous tales from Prfs, the Librarian! Honestly though, all wizard-hermit-librarian dramatics aside, I have been involved with Dungeons and Dragons for 32 years, and my dream as a teenager was to one day have a campaign published in Dragon magazine. Ahhhhh, the good old days. I have played many hundreds of board games once and many board games hundreds of times. I have roleplayed in space, against vampires, with steam-powered craziness, classic sword and sorcery, you name it. Come. Join my silly shenanigans! MWAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA!

Creating your character
Please create your character using D&D Beyond character creation. Roll the stats and distribute them accordingly, and please generate a character that IS encumbered by coin weight, as I like to make inventory management an important part of an adventure. Create at Level 1, and please limit your character to the following races in order to keep in line with the world's story and lore: Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Kender
What to expect

What prfs_the_librarian brings to the table
This campaign is fun and exciting, and I truly love the world of Krynn and some of the characters and adventures that have emerged within it over the years. I bring to you my passion and enthusiasm for this setting, my knowledge of the lore, and a generally bright and cheery Kender-like (seriously, seriously KENDER-like) enthusiasm for having an enjoyable time with you in this setting! I love to do voices, I love to provide music and atmosphere, and I will work with you to go as deeply into any aspect of gameplay you enjoy while maintaining a balance with the other players. Comedy, drama, excitement, battle and blood. Good times, my friends!
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action, but accompanied by a DC roll. (You know, in case you spill or it tastes just way too bad!) Flanking is disregarded in general. It creates unusual situations and I find it is simply more fun to surround enemies in clusters rather than form lines waiting to take advantage of some strange game mechanic. Rolls of 1 or 20 will come with some very interesting circumstances at times. Including, VERY possibly, party damage and friendly fire. Mwa ha ha

How prfs_the_librarian creates a safe table
Each player will be introduced to the campaign with a small one-player one-one shot that will also be the opportunity to establish the safety protocols and general feel for what the campaign will entail. At this time you will be worked through a series of circumstances meant to gently guide you into becoming familiar with the tabletop interface and how to proceed in the game confidently with the full knowledge that I will keep things safe and positive :-D
