About the adventure
Inspired by Eureka, Bozja and Occult Crescent, step into and explore the mysteries of the great rift that lies in the oceans of Tural, and discover ancient secrets said to date to the age of the gods. I have created a full conversion for pathfinder 2e to turn it into a Final Fantasy 14 system. The conversion has been tested in actual play before, and I'm confident in the overall systems, but not every option has been used in anger so there may be slight balance patches made from play experience.

About me
I starting playing tabletop games back in college, and my very first session was as dungeon master - after the person who'd offered to run our first game flaked on us, I rolled up my sleeves and did it myself, and I've been both playing and running consistently for the 15 years ever since. I've run in person and online, home games, at clubs, and in west march servers, in a variety of systems, though I prefer systems with a robust mechanical foundation. I like to have and know the tools and rules at our disposal, which makes it easier to know when it's time to bend them in service of the story. I've also dabbled in homebrew and system creation over the years, though only ever on a personal basis.

Creating your character
I will walk people through the options in session 0. The general concepts of character creation remain the same as with standard 2e, but the options are custom enough that I'd like to be on hand to talk people through the options. Most of the information will be in a freely available online pdf, with the exception of some base 2e feats which remain unchanged and haven't yet been copied in.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to be able to access Foundry, as well as join a discord server for pre-game safety communication and character sheet selection.
What Andrew brings to the table
I want to tell the stories my players are interested in - I've crafted a world for you to explore, but what you do in it is down to you. If you want a big save the world adventure, political intrigue, more sandbox exploration, all of these are options, and which I focus on is based entirely on what you want out of the game. I've written the vast majority of the options from scratch, and have set up a mostly automated version of the conversion in foundry.
Homebrew rules
There is a lot of homebrew here, more than I can cover in a single text box. It's all fully documented though, and available in my discord.

How Andrew creates a safe table
Players will have access to a lines and veils document via the discord as soon as they join. I firmly believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and so I want to know what my players are comfortable with before session one is even written, and we can focus on playing the game at the table (though of course no plan is perfect, and if something comes up, I am always open to players doing whatever they need to for their own mental safety).
